About Us
History of Focus Film Frankfurt
Focus Film Frankfurt was founded by Susanne Müller-Hanpft and Martin Bosboom as an independent film production in 1978. In the following 30 years Focus Film Frankfurt was commissioned to produce about 100 films for various public television stations, especially for ZDF, Saarländischer Rundfunk, Westdeutscher Rundfunk, Bayerischer Rundfunk and Arte. Our films show stories in the fields of social criticism, environment, cultural heritage, literature, theatre, art and travel and history. Since 1990 we produced about 25 films on the Balkans, mainly Bulgaria, Albania, Macedonia.
In 2012 Susanne Müller-Hanpft and Martin Bosboom stopped their active work in films.
The aim of the actualized site is to offer some of the work of Focus Film Frankfurt to the public and to show it to interested viewers.
